Daucus Carota Sativa (Carrot) Root Extract Daucus Carota Sativa (Carrot) Root Extract is the oil-soluble extract coming from the edible, orange part of the carrot. It is created by macerating the carrot root in a carrier oil such as sunflower or olive oil, and the resulting thing (base oil + carrot root extract) is often called carrot oil or carrot root oil. (Not to be confused with carrot seed oil, that can be fixed or essential and comes from the seeds.) The root extract is known for containing the orange pigment beta-carotene, aka provitamin A. It is a famous molecule for being a potent antioxidant, suntan accelerator and having skin-regenerative abilities. Carrot oil also contains vitamin E and some fatty acids that give the oil further antioxidant and barrier repairing properties. 
d-Panthenol Panthenol is a natural chemical compound closely related to vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid). In partiular, D-panthenol promotes wound healing, helps restore damaged epithelium, reduces itching and inflammation, improves skin hydration, reduces transepidermal water less, improves skin roughness, and more.

It improves smoothness, provides lubrication, and acts as a humectant. It is commonly used in soaps, skin care and hair care products.
Glyceryl Stearate Glyceryl Stearate acts as a lubricant on the skin's surface, which gives the skin a soft and smooth appearance. It also slows the loss of water from the skin by forming a barrier on the skin's surface. Glyceryl Stearate helps to form emulsions by reducing the surface tension of the substances to be emulsified.

Pentylene Glycol Pentylene Glycol is synthetic humectant used in cosmetics and beauty products that is also secondarily used as a solvent and preservative. It is both water and oil-soluble and can have moisture-binding and antimicrobial properties
Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil is a valuable source of protein, essential fatty acids and vitamins A and C. It is one of the most penetrating oils and is used to moisturize, soften and heal dry, damaged or prematurely aging skin. 
Phenoxyethanol Phenoxyethanol is commonly used as a preservative in cosmetic products to limit the growth of bacteria. It can be found in a range of products including skincare, body care, shampoos, makeup, as well as vaccines and other medical supplies. It is also used as a fragrance stabiliser.
Polygonum Cuspidatum (Resveratrol) Root Extract Resveratrol is a stilbenoid, a type of natural phenol, and a phytoalexin produced by several plants in response to injury or when the plant is under attack by pathogens, such as bacteria or fungi. Natrual sources of resveratrol include the skin of grapes, blueberries, raspberries, mulberries, and peanuts and other root plants.
Polysorbate 20 Polysorbate 20 can serve as a dispersing agent and mix oil and water, work as a fragrance solubilizer and stabilizer, act as a lubricator, and have a soothing effect on the skin. 
Potassium Sorbate Potassium sorbate is a potassium salt of sorbic acid, a naturally occurring antimicrobial compound. It used as a mild preservative in cosmetic and skin care formulas and as a paraben alternative to prevent or retard the growth of microorganisms and protect these products from spoiling.
Propanediol Propanediol is a glycol that can enhance the absorption of ingredients (such as salicylic acid) into the skin. Propanediol can be derived naturally (from corn) or synthetically. It has hydrating properties that may leave a smooth, dewy finish.

Sesamum Indicum (Sesame) Seed Oil is a natural source of omega-6 fatty acids, and its fatty acid profile helps ensure a healthy skin barrier by complementing skin’s natural supply of ceramides and lipids.
Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil is the liquid wax found in the seeds of the Simmondsia chinensis plant. Its structure is different than most other oils because it is biocompatible. That means it absorbs into the skin really easily. It's rich in vitamin E, zinc, iodine, and other nourishing antioxidants, and it works like a humectant.
Sodium Dehydroacetate Sodium Dehydroacetate kills microorganisms and prevent their growth and reproduction, thus protecting cosmetics and personal care products from spoilage.
Sodium Gluconate Sodium gluconate is a safe and natural alternative to the synthetic chelating agents EDTA and etidronate to protect cosmetic products from discoloration and rancidity of cosmetic oils. It can also act as pH regulator as well as humectant, thanks to its molecular structure with numerous hydroxyl groups.

Sodium Hydroxymethylglycinate Sodium Hydroxymethylglycinate is a preservative derived from the naturally occurring amino acid, glycine. It is often used in cosmetics and skin care products as a natural alternative to parabens.
Sodium Stearoyl Lactylate A synthetic derived ingredient that stabilizes the water phase of moisturizers and other skincare products that contain hydrating ingredients. Sodium Stearoyl Lactylate works via its interaction with proteins and starches, where it can also help modify a product’s texture.
Sorbitan Olivate A mixture of the fatty acids from olive oil plus a dehydrated sugar known as sorbitol. Sorbitan Olivate may be synthetic or plant-derived. It functions as an emulsifier and mild cleansing agent. Sorbitan-derived ingredients are considered safe for use on skin.
